I just wanted to mark the thirteenth day of my favourite month and to say have a happy and lucky day!

Many people are convinced that number 13 is unlucky. Not all agree. Some claim that number 13 is actually quite lucky.

Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of number thirteen. The word “Triskaidekaphobia” is made up of the Greek words:

tris (meaning “three”)

kai (meaning “and”)

deka (meaning “ten”)

phobia (meaning “fear”).

Black and purple number 13 merged with the word triskaidekaphilia.

Paraskavedekatriaphobia is the very specific fear of Friday the thirteenth.

Triskaidekaphilia means someone who has a love for the number 13, like me!

Thirteen Forever: A Love Letter To The Unlucky One

Triskaidekaphilia isn’t just a fancy word I learned to impress ghosts at parties. It’s a state of being. And the truth is... I’ve always felt a bit 13. Not quite square with the world.
