Hello my Freaky Darlings!

Marking my favourite day of the year! I'm only mildly obsessed with the number 13 and October is my favourite month.
The word triskaidekaphilia is made up of the Greek words:
tris (meaning “three”)
kai (meaning “and”)
deka (meaning “ten”)
and philia (meaning "love or fondness").
So, I guess that makes me a triskaidekaphile! 😅
The name October comes from the Latin word octo, which means "eight". In the Roman calendar, which was based on the lunar cycle, October was the eighth month of the year. When the Romans converted to a 12-month calendar, the name October stuck despite the fact that it’s now the 10th month!
I have decided to dedicate a small sketchbook to the number 13. The front cover of which has the triskaidekaphilia merged with 13 logo I drew and coloured in myself; I also used it as the thumbnail image for this post.
I plan to create an image in the sketchbook each month to celebrate the number 13. I actually started this in September with the pen and ink scribble of Friday the 13th's main antagonist Jason Voorhees 😁
I've got a little short video of me colouring the 13 logo on my sketchbook to go with this journal entry.
Have a happy and lucky day!
Much love and Blessed Be,
Emily xxx
