57 years ago, in 1957, one fateful Friday in September.

The 13th, to be precise.

An unfortunate young boy named Jason was being badly bullied by a bunch of horrible kids while staying at a camp by a lake.

During this awful incident, Jason accidentally fell into the camp's lake and supposedly drowned.

His body was never found...

I’m here to celebrate something that’s always been close to my spooky little heart: the number 13. Maligned, mistrusted, and mysteriously avoided by hotels and cowards alike, this poor digit gets a bad rap—and I, for one, think that’s gloriously unfair.
